Default 97 civic 4 door help!!

I have a 97 honda civic LX and my driver side rear door will not open. I flipped the child lock switch inside the door panel thinking, for some reason, it would allow me to open the door from the outside as well. But now my door will not open from the inside or the outside!!

What can i do to get the door open so i can at least turn the child safety off again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's possible. I've seen threads where people have managed to do it without destroying anything.
