I recently put a new timing belt and head gasket on a 98 Accord 2.3 VTEC. It was running perfect, until it started to skip a little. It will rev up perfect and drive perfect,however it will not idle! It will crank up and if you give it gas it does fine but once you let off the pedal it sometimes will "shutter" and idle real rough and then cut off. I replaced the knock sensor and had the igniter tested. At first it would not crank up so I put a different coil in it and now it does but idles rough and shuts off. If you drive it down the road and then let off the gas it will shut off. I need help!!
