96 accord, upper ball joint
Hey, so I had the upper control arm and ball joint replaced on drivers side about 8 months ago, now, I took a look at passenger side just to check and have discovered that the boot on the ball joint is almost completely cracked to the point that I think it is going to tear rest of the way. Now, after discovering this I jacked the car up and tried moving the tire back and forth, up and down to see how bad the damage was and it has absolutely no play what so ever, so I'm thinking that the ball joint and arm themselves are actually fine and the boot most of just recently cracked. So my question is, is there a way to just replace the boot and what does it entail? I have come to understand that the boot is greased. I have some knowledge as to how to work on cars, but am definitely not a master mechanic. I helped to install the upper control arm assembly on other side and feel confident I could replace passenger side but am not sure if the whole thing actually needs replacing and would like to save some money just replacing the boot if that's all that's wrong.
So, in short, my question is can you simply replace just the boot and how? Or would it just be more worth it to replace the entire upper control arm and ball joint, seeing as it comes with everything all ready, ready to be installed.
New to this site, sorry if this seems like a stupid question. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Oh alright, thank you. I was under the impression that the grease had to be put in like, with a syringe after it was on, so knowing I can grease it before hand and then put it on hah makes me pretty happy. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.
