Icon2 radio codes ??

hi,
just bought a 2001 accord for my son. i need to get the radio code. i have no owners manual and the radio display will only show " Error".
can someone help me or tell me where to get help ? we need tunes !!!!

There is a link in the F.A.Q. at the top of the page showing how to do this. There is a different procedure for the newer cars, not sure if the '01 applies.

1 of 3 places. Owners manual. Side of glove box, inside of fuse box cover. If the radio code isn't there you need the get the serial number off of the back of the radio and go to the dealer.

have the same problem previous owner lost the manual. is it the same 3 places on all accords? i have a 95 ex...

Nope, you have to pull the radio and get the serial number. It's located on the top surface on a tag.
The center consoles rear section will have to be removed to gain access to the two lower fasteners that hold the black shift plate/radio bezel on to get to the radio. There is a pdf in the Accord FAQ with pictures on how to do this. You will have to update H.O.A. with new owner information before they will give you the unlock code.
