Post microsleeves??? grooved crankshaft

Im trying to finish my d16z6 turbo build. The problem is that the crankshaft i currently have is grooved on the ends like a deep groove. Its already polished and stuff to run std bearings. The shop said it can be fixed with micro sleeves.
How efficient are these things and can it witstand running hard like with a turbo. The shop says it will leak if i dont fix the groove? Or should i ditch the crank
What are those how does the sleeves work??

I'd personally ditch the crank.

Better to be safe than sorry when boosting.
