Beeps, but no power otherwise
Was helping a buddy get his 93 Del Sol roadworthy, it's been sitting for over a year now (ran fine when parked), recently he had been doing some body and interior work.
Anyway, the battery was dead so we threw it on slow charge for about an hour or two (was bought about a month before it was parked), and when I went in to turn it over it had no power, other than the beeping you get with an open door. Not even the 4 ways or horn work, no lights, nothing.
I would imagine the battery is still okay, it's pretty new and just had a nice charge, and obviously some power is getting through (though the beeping does seem a bit more faint than it should).
Having trouble deciding where to start since the problem occurred while the car was not being run at all... Any ideas?

A slow charge is exactly that. An hour or two may not be enough. You could try leaving it to charge overnight and measure voltage across the battery posts to see if it's holding a charge.
Or you can try to jump start it. If it starts the battery is bad or undercharged. Let it run for a while to charge the battery then turn it off and try to start it again. If it starts the battery was undercharged. If it doesn't start, measure voltage across the battery posts to see if it's holding the correct charge.
