what would make this happen? I was on the track first burn out and it sound like i broke a axle, well after i was inpected the car this what i found!!!! I know that stock tranny =635hp turbo car its on the limits but still looking for any one that might know what can cause this? this tranny its been good for about 3 years on stock gears 550HP only replaced 3&4 sleeve and Carbon syncros but its been i good tranny for been stock tranny lol !!!!

That failure is cause by shock load. Was this an aftermarket Final Drive? If not, I recommend a stronger aftermarket final drive or if you need OEM ratio get a set hardened. With that much power this will happen on occasion. I think there may have been a fractured tooth on the pinion, and the last burnout you did finally broke it all the way.

it was a stock final drive and where can i get a OEM gear set hardened? and you right it might was a fractured tooth im inspected the tranny last time went i swap to gsr gears from another tranny didnt see nothing anormal ,the final drive with the countershaft was the my original b16 tranny (QUIAFE LSD) had to swap the gsr gears on my b16 countershaft to match with the b16 final drive due to gsr final drive wont fit my b16 LSD THANKS for the time to give me a answer .

I can have a Final drive and/or gear set hardened for you. If you need a new one or if you have one, I can do it either way.

cool i have a spare final with countershaft ,pm the price for both to get hardened (final
