I have a 91 prelude si that i race as a dirt oval car.
The issue im having is when i put it in gear(its an automatic)and tap the throttle it acts like it sticks some. I have checked the cables and nothing is stuck.
Could it be the kick down cable on the trans or the iacv or tps?
This isnt a huge issue because i normally run it in 2nd only it just makes it hard to load on the trailer.

have you cleaned your TB at all?

 

Lol. I havent actually took it off and cleaned it.
I probably should though.

 

Solenoids and tranny fluid check. you can bench test the solenoids via a write up here on HT

 

The trans fluid is good. Im gonna clean the tb this week and see if that helps.

 

I took the iacv off and cleaned it and no more throttle issue.
