I thought I would share this with the Honda Tech community to show there are still some low mileage clean STOCK examples out there.
Picked up a 13k mile Stock EG hatch this week. It's literally a "barn find" ... I think the tires are even original! Zero rust and the interior smells new! Crazy!! I almost don't dare to drive it.

That is a sweet ride I saw an old old lady driving a 5th gen civic sedan that look as mint as that. It was tempting to ask her if she wanted to sell it. Haha
You need to replace the tires and every belt on that car, as well as drain, flush, and refill EVERY fluid. Even then you'll be lucky if half the seals don't blow out when you turn the key. I seriously doubt that car has been properly maintained for the past 20+ years.

It was someone's summer home car. It saw about about ~1,000 miles each summer. It runs and drives just like new! No leaks, squeaks or rattles. Spent 11 months out of the year in the garage.
Battery, oil and fuel filters changed. Heading into Honda for a service next week for the full inspection..... "just in case".

At a bare minimum, change the tires and flush the brake fluid. Tires dry rot after that much time, and become stupidly dangerous, and brake fluid is hygroscopic. It soaks up water in the atmosphere (those caps aren't air tight) and loses it's ability to hold form under compression, which can create an unsafe brake system, especially after that much time.

i couldnt own it lol. I would want to mod it but couldnt unless i used all brand new parts. I couldnt put an engine in a car that had more miles on it than the chassis it was going into. Nice find
^ Agreed. Do it properly. No cheap crap, no lame CAIs, battery relocations, wire tucks, or other ideas of the like. Keep it all OEM, original Honda. You have been handed a unique, enviable canvas. Check my sig for some inspiration.
its a 95 civic cx hatchback......not a bentley. the car in your sig looks like its been dragged backwards with its pants down through a honda accessories catalog.
