Default My DUI project. 94 Accord.

Just wanted to share my build thread with you guys on here. Got a DUI in February so I'm going to spend my summer fixing up this 1994 Accord Lx 5 speed.
200k
Stock everything
Plans so far:
-Fix Rust
-Paint
-H22a
-Lower a little
-Tint
-Some wheels.
-Replace muffler with stock. (I like her quiet)
-Gps Alarm system

Driver side door was beyond fixing so I found this

Looks like he needs some wheels. I picked up some prelude alloys at the junkyard last week for a very low price, if you're strapped for cash go there its awesome. At this one place I go to called Pick N Save you can get parts for rock bottom pricing.

I was hit by a car head on that turned left of center, while I was on my bike I restored. knocked about ten feet in the air and landed on my head, burst fracture in my lower back, doc is hoping it will stabilize on it's own

Nice. Plan on re-doing my rear quarter panels too. Getting a set of new rear quarters and have trust-able shop do the work.

You need to get that fixed so you can get back on the track. Remember hearing about this awhile ago on that "limiter" thread.

dont think it can be fixed unless I have major surgery, I'm getting to old to race anymore anyway, got a wife to take care of now. I would like to run the 86 down the track a few times when it's done, just to see what it will do

it would be nice to go back to the salt one day, but I'll leave that stuff to the young guys, once you get out of it, it's hard to go back 20 years and pick up where you left off again, family's and finances and everything else gets in the way

05-06 RSX-S Muffler! I love the one on mine. There's pictures and sound clips(with an intake, too) up in the picture thread at the top of the forum.

Nebraska eh? My grandparents live in Columbus, NE, I'm out there about once a year!

I know how you feel on the back pain, my L1-2-3 are fused from when I rolled my Jeep and got a DUI. Broke my foot at the same time. It sucks.

Nice progress though!

They look pretty cool, although I prefer 5-spoke wheels on Accords.

Not a bad choice, but if you don't mind searching for a used set, you can find something much lighter for a decent price

Like these! Similar weight, much cheaper.

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...5&autoModClar=

At $700+shipping, I'd be looking at RPF1's. You can find sets of used Team Dynamic's wheels, as well as used sets of RPF1's, Kosei K1's and K1 TS's, etc for WAY under $700, usually with tires.

I paid $150 for my set of used 16x7 TSW Trackstar 4's that are in nearly perfect shape, sans tires. 14.8lbs a piece, +45 offset. I basically bought one brand new and got the others for free!
