Our next CMI / Sport Compact Drag Racing event at Sacramento Raceway will be on Sunday May 19th. The new flyer is up, again, you will notice that the RWD class is gone but a Hot Rod / Anything goes class has been added. You will also see that the Driveshaft Shop has stepped up with class sponsorship in the heads up classes so big thanks to them for their support. Which class is similar to IFO Allmotor pro? And what are the rules ?

 

The class that is the closest to IFO amp is our N1 concepts pro street. Basic rules are no power adders, no 1 piece front ends, no lexan. Anything in particular you need to know?

Weight - 1950 with driver
No lexan.

I spoke with them today and for the last event of the year or starting next year they will try to have more of an outlaw all motor type class.

 

1950lbs for all cars with any swap???

 

With a b series. I want to wait until the official flyer is published though before we make any official statements. If you raced in the last event you will be able to race in the upcoming event.

Ok everyone the official flyer is now up and there were quite a few changes. Please take a look at the flyer ( edited the first post to show the new one ) So SP Garage it looks like lexan should be no problem, and there aren't any weights listed so we can assume there are no weight restrictions at this time. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there. Make sure to bring your shade and sunblock it's going to be warm.

 

Alright everybody we are about 2 weeks away from the event who's racing? what class will you be in? Let's get thing thing going.

 

So far it looks like I'm good to go.. Motor starts and I just need a tune and I'm good to go

 

Looks like we will be out there I may have the Grand National stock and ready....

 

Is BC the all motor class? Are the payout prorated for all the classes or just Hot Rod?

 

BC is similar to the old street power. Synergy auto pro street is also a heads up class but you have to have a full exhaust and interior.

 

Prorated class will only be the Hot Rod class. But it looks like there will be enough hot rod cars for that day. We'll see...

 

Monday morning update.

So who's going to be ready to run, only a couple weeks away let's do this. If you have any friends down in So Cal please invite them up for the race. There are a number of inexpensive hotels near the track.
