Hey People,

This is what problem I've been having.

Bought the Civic from a guy that needed it gone and he was about half putting in a GSR dash along with the Instrument cluster. I finished that and a few days later the Instrument Cluster didn't work except for the fuel and temp gauge. When I looked behind the dahs it looked like a chipmonk and ravaged the wiring and stuck it back together with electrical tape.

So I bought a new harness and cluster and put them in. The tach works great along with the Fuel and the Temp but the speedo still isn't working. I've been reading about everything from VSS to repining but I haven't had much success. Anything you guys can point me to or advice to give would be great thanks.

 

Was the speedometer ever working before?

Can you test the speed sensor pin if it's even reading?
It could also be a bad cluster.
