Well they are both F series engines. I guess the ITR IM would work to. But like with almost any TB, port matching should be done.

Why would the ITR IM work too? The ITR is a b18c5.

Pretty much any TB will work on any car. A Mustang TB is one of the most used TBs out.

With the Mustang thing though, can an overly sized throttle body create any sort of problem with intake velocity?

Too much TB can be a bad thing.

edit: is a bad thing.

PS: which Mustang throttle body?? (you realize you have a mustang guy on the board righ?). Certainly not the 94-95 ... stock size of a mustang 5.0 TB is 53-58mm depending on year.

Honestly, i have no clue which yr Mustang TB. It's always listed as Mustang TB, never specifies which yr. I just assumed it was known which yr is the best to use, i never really looked into it.

well they're pretty much the same 1986-1993 (aside from small size differnces) .. in 1994 however they changed to a form factor i know would be impossible for us to use fer sure.

this is a shitty pic of a 86/7-93

this is a 94-95 (96+ = modular 4.6L engine)

(scaled it down)

So assuming I was goint to port match with my intake manifold, What size TB would be best for a f22b1 with the basic I/H/E??
