Gasket Maker help

Default Gasket Maker help

I was wondering if its okay to use gasket maker for my 4-2-1 header downpipe gasket till i get my new one in? Will it last about a week?

No....Try it and find out.
I have a 4-2-1- and got a gasket at napa

if ur talking about where the doughnut goes then no... if its a flange yes the hi temp gasket maker should work if applied correctly

I think it''s the black permatex that everyone uses, hot rod guys have done this for years, it carbonizes or something and makes a permanent gasket,
