I bought a 97 coupe and the dash lights for the radio/heater functions dont work along with the instrument panel. They've came on for a day or 2 then stopped working again. Is there a resistor or something I should check?

Don't work since when? Did you check fuses at least?

 

My 94 used to do that. I would hit the dash and they would come back on. Or when I hit a bad bump they would turn off. The switch that adjusts light brightness was actually the problem, I just jumped it and it solved the problem.
