Default Need help with release bearing

Here's the deal. I have a comp twin disc for 92-93 integra (8027-c), I've since parted the da out and decided to build a more streetable car out of my eg. The eg has a gsr trans in it. I know the disc from the 92-93 integra clutch will work with the 94+ hydro trans but what I'm worried about is will the release bearing from the 92-93 integra work as well?

No, you'll need a hydro release bearing.

Okay, do you think an oem release bearing for a 99-00 si will work fine with the comp twin disc? I can pick one up locally versus trying to find and order the hydro release bearing from comp.

That I'm not sure about, can you compare the release bearing you have to an OEM/OE replacement release bearing for a '92 - '93 Integra? If they're the same then chances are an OEM release bearing will work.

I believe twin discs generally take a special release bearing though.

I have an oem release bearing being delivered to the shop. I'll compare it to the release bearing that came with the comp clutch.
