H22 ecu
Just wondering is there any way
to tell by looking at a motor if
it's OBD1 or OBD2. and can you
use a OBD2 ECU on a OBD1 motor.

look at the distributor, one plug is obd2 and two separate plugs is obd 1
look at the crank pully if there is a sensor at the base of the pully, then the motor is obd2
look at the head on the block, look at where the headers are, take them off and look closer, the yr is stamped on the head
