Can anyone tell me what these wires are for and where they run to my cooling fan doesnt come on and it was wired to them. My car is a 1992 honda prelude si

 

well they are not factory if you didnt put them there someone else did maybe foglights or alarm system

 

blue one is probably for an alarm system. For every low end system, the wire running to the battery is always blue.

I see a ground wire and a brown wire(dont know what the brown one is for)

 

ok well I cant figure out how to get it to work off those wires but I noticed the fog lights dont work because the clips are melted so i cut the clip off of 1 of the fog lights and ran my fan wires to it so that when i hit the fog light switch my fan comes on. But I'm wondering will this hurt anything? The fan and fog lights both use 15 amp fuses so it should be fine right?

 

The Fan wires normally are blue an black too.
