Running those oversized valves will possibly hinder what you are going to be able to do with cams that have close v2v measurement to begin with. What springs and retainers? what is the "advertised" seat pressure of them? <--- will help determine how big of a cam you can go.

the number is NOT important. the peak power means jack and does not tell you anything of the engine other than some dyno said it makes X peak power.

If you read the other threads then obiviously you saw dyno graphs with the different setups. With that being said, what did you see ON THE GRAPH that was different between them all? How far was torque carried? Did power drop off hard after peak torque? How did their induction and exhaust setups differ from yours? What times did they run? what was their mph?

I think in the future this is the only way I am going to allow these threads. Its obvious you just want to be given information without even understanding why and im sorry but all that breeds is ignorance and petty arguments between ignorant members and you and everyone else reading are not going to learn anything from a cat fight of members throwing about brand names.

So spend some time in the dyno threads and the threads you already looked through and reply back with answers to them.

Not sure what Springs and retainer I bought the car a month ago
And yea I'm looking for Info that's what these forums are for to help each other out am I wrong I appreciate your advice still as ur probably right on the v2v clearance issue right now motor runs perfect no valve ticks I'll most Likely be pulling it apart to what's exactly in the motor no need to be a dick tho

As for the header I was considering getting rid of and getting something better any ideas

Thanks guys

I would be sure to upgrade to the proper valvetrain first and formost. Secondly, the DC head is gonna choke the motor hugely. Look into something better.

Determine your budget, and goals.
From there we can recommend camshafts, I have tuned quite a few setups with the pro2's, they leave alot of room to grow, the CR of your motor is fine for a pro2 type style cam.

Not trying to be a dick although many people see me as coming off that way. I just want people to learn and not be "told" information which is easily accessible and has been dicussed over and over. All the answers you could ever need for a basic street car build can be found in the faq, but it requires truly understanding how engines work, how to read a dyno graph for meaning and using that information to compile a build that will suit your goals.

Over the years, it just gets worse and worse and without forcing people to research first, and not for just 30 min then give up and make a thread. I mean really, you are putting a lot of money into your engine. Dont you want to truly understand why you are picking certain parts? That doesnt come from asking what header to run or what cams to run.

Unfortunately a lot of new people arent going to like me. But the ones who listen to me and do more than scour internet forums for information passed along from one person to another (you played telephone in school right?), they will be better for it because they worked hard to understand.

Sorry for the rant. I typically close these threads.

I would ask my friend Rocket to ship m24xx intake and m22xx exhaust.
Get RDX or ID injectors and an ITR style IM (or the Skunk2UltraStreet), also save for a bit better header...

OP, you're gonna need a lot of "hand holding", since you don't have enough knowledge to even know who you should listen too.

Who is building the motor?
