New pilot Owner, where to start? Please help!
Just bought a 2003 exl with 175,000kms (108k miles), the car was suppose to be certified and etested and on the test drive drove fine, however due to rush hour I was unable to get it over 60mph. Second day I found a leaking gas line near a connector under the rear door drivers side... I've called the dealership as there is a warranty on certifiable items only... Now I've become paranoid of other issues it could have.... When the truck gets to 70mph or so 120km+ per hour, I feel movement in the wheel... I've read this is more then likely the motor mounts which is common, but I'm getting more and more worried about transmissions problems...
What are the symptoms I should be looking for in the transmission failures? What other things commonly happen to these first pilots that I should be checking out throughtly before I bring the truck back to dealer on Monday. I have it booked into the local Honda dealer for a recall on the ignition, and I've ask them to perform a safety check and give me an itemized list of what the car requires for them to safety it to take with me to the dealer, however it's more the engine transmission which aren't covered by safety I'd like to get some advice, while I maybe have an out of this vehicle.
Any help is greatly appreciated, I hope it's mostly in my head now after something minor, and ill enjoy my Honda ownership...
Cheers
