New to the Honda Scene
Hello all, I'm some what new to the Honda scene as far as starting to do my own maintenance and upgrades myself. I've always wanted to learn about cars, how to maintain and understand how a vehicle functions. On April 11, 2013 I purchased a white 1991 Honda CRX HF for $2,600 from a friend as my daily commuter. The only performance upgrade so far that has been done to it before I purchased it was the stock engine was swapped with a SOHC ZC. The ECU, fuel injectors, intake, and the HF tall geared transmission are still stock. At the moment it has a little bit more umph on my pedal but I eventually plan on upgrading some parts to maximize the performance. I can't help but say that I can't complain on the gas on this car because I also own a 08 Jeep Rubi that sucks gas equivant to a college student to beer, haha.
Anyway my initial plans for my CRX is to get the car completely functional and back to stock with the exception of the motor, lol. Once that is done then the performance upgrading will begin. I found this site because I constantly had questions that I googled in attempts on what to do or advice on various things and it kept leading me to you guys. It just makes sense to join this community that has awesome enthusiast as I am. I hope to learn from y'all to expand my knowledge on Honda vehicles. Thank you for your time.
