Does anyone have a DIY or can help me with installing a DEI 524 lock actuator to my civic coupe trunk latch?The electrical part I can figure out.

But I only saw it done for a hatchback glass and a EM2 trunk. What I'm puzzled about is where to mount the rod to pull the latch mechanism as all I know is the cable inside the car similar to the hood cable.

I understand the key cylinder has a rod on it but how do I get the actuator to manipulate turning the key to open it?

Also will the key still work with an electric actuator on the latch?
