HF cams and a ZC
I don't believe that will work since the sohc(hf) cam operates both intake and exhaust valves while the ZC(DOHC) has one cam operating the intake valves and one operating the exhaust valves. The SOHC ZC is a whole different story however I am not sure if the hf cam will work.
Do you know that the hf only has one cam and the lobes are really skinny because it has roller rockers. Not to mention the spacing of the lobes and sequence of the lobes will be no where near what you need for a ZC since they are two completely different animals.
HF=SOHC 8valve 1.5L motor
ZC=DOHC 16 valve 1.6L motor
Does that answer your question?
Peace,
Caleb

the zc has two cams and 16 valves 16/2=8 = use 2 hf cams 1 for intake and 1 for exhaust(if the spacing is right), do you know for sure the spacing is wrong, thats what im wondering. What about using them for regrinds?

the points at which they lift will be different..
even if it some how fit, the hf cam, would be paired so that one was open (say on the intake stroke) then the exhaust would be closed, so if you were to put a cam like that on a zc, one intake vavle would be open and one closed, then the other would open after and then smack into a piston..
