Icon2 Horn doesn't work in warmer weather

Strangest thing. I have a 1992 Honda Accord EX. The horn works fine during the colder months...but as soon as it gets warm, the horn stops working. In order for me to get the horn to work, I have to press one of the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel first. What is going on? Thanks.

Maybe check the actual buttons on the wheel with a volt meter to see if it has current to it? Check the fuse for the horns for the same? Hot wire the horn itself to make sure it works?

Did all that in the past. Problem still continues.

Check for loose connections.

the ground in the column is loose or the slip ring is worn, pressing the cruise button provides an extra ground point,
