So I put new clutch in my d16z6 last night..was running mint no problems at all the drove it today fine.. When to go backout and it started making rattle noise.. Took out starter to see if pressure plate bolts were loos but they were fine.. Then I wiggled the fork and when I push the fork in it has play up n down and side to side...let it out and not really any play...noise only happens when clutch isn't pushed in... Could it be the forkclip?

 

You definitely need to make sure that the fork is set on the pivot ball with the clip. Also make sure the throwout bearing is set on the fork on both sides.

Will be tearing out tranny Saturday and just going to put an OEM throw out bearing..thank u wdpfreak.
