It's the sound deadning ALL MUFFLERS have it. if you take it out the car will sound like **** raspy as hell if you want it louder remove the resinator that way you'll still have the muffler.

that would be the fiberglass packing. take it out and it's gonna sound like ****, almost guaranteed.

Okay, thanks. The mufflers ive seen maybe just have not had this fiberglass exposed?
Idk, ill just remove the resonator.
