had my 00 crv for almost 6 months and everything seems fine besides the shifting..

if i cruise at say 55mph and lightly apply the brakes... as it starts to slow down, it progressively downshifts and its noticeable. it downshifts through all the gears of course til you come to a complete stop. hard to describe but I am at a loss because i have only ever had h22a's and one b16 del sol, so when it comes to automatics i am a dummy! LOL.

so cruise at 55, slow down a bit to mayybe 45 it downshifts to 3rd, and at about 25ish it downshifts to 2nd and at like 10mph it downshifts to 1st.

I have flushed it with honda oem fluid 3 times and it currently has honda atf in it now...

any ideas??

 

btw it is a 00 crv awd b20z (high compression)

btw, yesterday the a/c compressor locked up followed by the harmonic balancer came apart.
