The blower stopped working the other day and I pulled the blower out and wired it direct to a battery and it worked. I pulled the resister out and it was fried. I put a new resister in and the blower worked for about 15 minutes then stopped again. The resister was fried again. I have done some research that indicated maybe the blower is bad I just didnt let it run longer enough when I tested it for it to show a problem. The blower does sound a little funny when it is running. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

try a higher resistor so you have more time to test.
