i'll share a write up i found for OBD0 conversion, which you can use to help yourself with the wiring. what i have found when i attempted this, is that you need to play with the VR conditioning resistors for it to properly see the VR signal from the distributor, both the R52 and the R56 variable resistors. here is an article that can help.
good luck.

Where did you get your MS? The pots I mentioned are inside the unit. You will need to open it. I cannot share the settings with you since I have abandoned the idea of using it on my car for now. But read the file I had shared. There is a lot of info there. You can also go here for some info.

Another one of those "I bought the damn thing and expect it to work" thread....
At this point I suggest you abandon the project and get a chipped ECU with datalogging or a s300. Less headaches involved.

You need to set up the VR circuit on the circuit board for a magnetic VR sensor. These things are far from plug and play.
Did you put this together yourself or buy it assembled?
What version board do you have V3.0 or V3.57? They require different procedures.
All of the documentation is available on the DIYautotune.com forum.
Here is the VR setup page; http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms3/ignit...ml#vrv357logic
These document pages are now your Bible..... if you decide to stick with the MSIII EMS.
