I am from Orlando so I know you cannot leave a Honda out over night anywhere, even in the mall parking as you watch a movie.

And this is why I steered away from Hondas. Way to many being stolen and you have to worry about your car just going to the mall.

Hopefully he can find something from the car to get the guys, sure it's already stripped and cut up though :\

This is just sick. Someone puts their heart and soul into their ride, their pride, and another A-HOLE just comes to snag it up. So low of them.

Best of luck for your buddy, I hope he finds it in one piece.

definitely sucks for the owner, but how in the hell isn't this car under constant watch / garaged with the quality of parts on it?

Doesn't stop someone from towing. Kill switches don't stop them from pulling your motor, seats, exhaust, wheels, suspension, etc.

Kill switches are a pipe dream.

I don't know Brice. In a situation where it's out in the open, mall, etc... a killswitch can save you big time. They might break in, rough some **** up but when it won't start or doesn't have power, they'll likely leave it alone. It's all about deterring a thief. Anyone knows that if they want it bad enough they'll take it, but detourance is extremely helpful.

I've seen dudes on a security camera steal a dudes wheels in under 2 minutes. No kill switch will change that. It obviously doesn't hurt but after having 2 cars stolen with built motors, loudish exhausts, removable steering wheels and no broken glass. They're gonna steal it regardless.

Are there shops that install kill switches? Obviously not something everyone can do even with a DIY.
