Hi .. I'm a newbie... We just purchased a 2009 civic ex-l for our daughter... It has 78,000 on it.. ... This is our fourth Honda/Acura car.... Never had a lick of problems before.... The 09 is sputtering when I drive it.... At first thought it was transmission but now leaning towards bad gas, injector sort of thing.... Anyone else have this problem? It seems to do it worse around 50 to 58.... ?

 

define splutter... these cars have a problem with engine mounts that seems like a idle/bad fuel issue but after some research you find its the hydraulic mount. my civic has 80k and i had the issue start at 76k'ish. they all seem to fail at the same milage also some people are lucky and have it fail at -60 and get it replaced on warranty.
