On the way home today doing about 65-70 mph I start to feel vibration. As I slow down I hear and slightly feel a quick steady knocking. Sounds like somebody knocking on a quarter panel. As I slow, the knocking slows, all the way to 5 mph. There is no knocking during heavy braking or heavy accelerating. Half shaft? U joint? Safe to drive 35 min to the dealer? I'm lost

 

i had this yesterday, tire blew out haha. its better now. get under there and inspect it, or i guess you could try to remove the shaft and drive around and see if it goes way. they say its easy to remove, i never have though.

 

if you remove the propeller shaft don't let the middle joint bend too much. also mark the housing and the shaft where they meet on both ends so you put it back on the same way you took it off.

 

And today the noise is gone... FML
