Default Possible bad TPS ?

Ok guys the car is a 00 ex with a b18c and i was using a gsr throttle cable bracket and pulley , i replaced the throttle cable with a ITR cable and ITR cable stay and the according throttle cable pulley. now when the engine is running if i move the pulley with my hand or by pressing the gas pedal lightly it would get stuck at around 2.5k rpms and i have to give it a little tap so it can return to idle rpms again. but when the engine is not running it does not seem to stick.

I have cleaned the hell out of the throttle and iacv , lubed the return spring and still i have the same issue , so thats why im thinking its the tps.

.48v idle and 4.5v wide open throttle(wot)is spec. A small diff in idle reading can make a large diff in idle speed. Phearable.net new tps $50- prob less on ebay...if you trust seller

Ya, def possible. That's way off. Mine was about half as bad out of spec and had nice surging idle w/clean iacv. Recalibrated and TADA! Smooth operator now idle screw all way in 800rpm

Take off t/b and slot the snap off bolts so a screw driver can be used to remove them or just grind heads off/replace w/diff screws. Stock tps is adjustable.

Calibrated the oem tps to 0.50v closed and 4.49v WOT and the throttle still sticks between 2-3k rpms. Any ideas guys? vacuum leak maybe?

You can verify a bad tps w/live data scanner. Watch your specific rpm problem range for erratic readings
