Default D15B7 rocker arm assembly bolt torque question

I'm removing the rocker arm assembly to replace the lower tube seals on my motor. Both the Helms and Haynes manuals state that the bolts are 6mm and 8mm. The problem is the bolts are actually 10mm and 12mm. Both manuals state different torque specs to remount the assembly to the head:

Haynes - 6mm (16 ft/lbs.) and 8mm (25 ft/lbs.)
Helms - 6 mm (9 ft/lbs.) and 8mm (16 ft/lbs.)

Which is correct. Seeing how the bolt sizes in both manuals are wrong, I'm afraid the torque specs may be wrong in both, also.

Help!

Default Re: D15B7 rocker arm assembly bolt torque question

bolt size is by diameter of the thread, not the head.

8mm bolts:

D16Z6, D15Z1 engines: 14 ft. lbs. (20 Nm)

D15B7, D15B8 engines: 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm)

6mm bolts:

All engines: 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm)

Thanks! Appreciate your help.

Addendum: Apparently I read the Haynes manual wrong. Both manuals specify 9 ft/lbs and 16 ft/lbs. Doh.
