Default Accord 2001 LX 4cyl

Hello All
I need a direction. I bought this Accord 2 months back, its 2001 LX v4 with 107K, i am the 2nd owner. The first week i figured out radiator top tank had a crack. I replaced the radiator. Exactly after 1 wk the heater core got leakage and dropped all the coolant. Then i replaced that and also replaced the thermostat.
after 4 wk the main upper hose from radiator to engine got cracked (ripped off) and i change it by my own. Can any one advice how to verify if these engine has over heating issue? I am scared that the engine gets too hot and start breaking the cooling system one by one. Is there any temp the engine should always be during running and get the reading of that. I am already worried. This is my 3rd Honda and hurting most. It does not burn any oil and the coolant reservoir is clean (not black).

Thanks All.

Temp should run dead in the middle of the gauge when the car is warmed up. Does the fan work? With around 107K Miles it would be time to do the water pump and timing belt. Do you have any service records for the car?

I was told by the prev owner he did change water pump and timing. But no paper work. Yes the radiator fan auto turns on and goes off. I have tested that. But if the water pump was bad would that still run for few weeks?

If the water pump was bad you would be overheating.Sounds like you need to replace the lower radiator hose and heater hoses due to age detereoration. A coolant flush is in order also. Check the condition of your belts also.
