reason i ask is because i am about to by a different car and i think the guy that is selling it is a little shady. is there anyway you can tell if the odometer has been tampered with on the integra's??? i thought maybe the ECU might store some kind of code but i guess not. is there anyway i can check for accuracy (mileage)????

 

If you're in doubt, don't buy it, or at the very least have an Acura dealer check it out.

 

maybe get a carfax if the mileage he claims is identical to or less than what it actually was registered with then he is full of it or someone messed up on registration, not too likely.

 

Have an appraiser look at the car if you are unsure - there are lots of clues that can be used to determine if rollback has occurred.

Otherwise - walk away.
