I just bought an 83 Accord yesterday and it runs great, but there are a few pretty minor problems i have questions about.

When you start the car cold, the RPMs fluctuate from 800 to about 1800, meaning it jumps around in between those numbers. It's fine when it warms up, But it idles around 1500-1700 which is way too high. Do you think it could be the throttle cable is loose, timing advanced too far, or a carburetor adjustment?

All three of the pedals(manual) sit really high off the floor compared to the other 83' i had. The clutch disengages really high also. And the gas and brake pedals don't seem very responsive. How can i move the pedals down?

Also the a/c isn't blowing any air whatsoever.

I just wanted to see if i could get some opinions, i'm not very experienced with cars. Thanks in advance!

 

The carb problem is my first priority. If someone could help me with that, it would be much appreciated.
