Engine Stalls When Decelerating - 94 Accord
Hey everyone, I have a 94 Honda Accord EX (5 speed) that is in pretty great shape and only has about 131K miles on it, but I'm having a bit of a strange issue:
Recently, the engine has started to cut off as I decelerate but only when I'm about to stop completely. I come to a full stop, then start her up again and I'm off. Also, I've noticed this only happens when the fuel tank is running pretty low - about 1/4 of a tank or less. I'm wondering if this is a fuel pump problem (the gas gauge hasn't worked for a while either). Not sure what else it could be. As far as I can tell, the car is in great condition otherwise.
Any feedback would realy be appreciated. Thanks.

u should hook up a fuel pressure gauge and have it facing you as you drive so you can see if fuel pressure is dropping when the issue occurs....do a search for my name and fuel pressure test....I have posted a procedure before
