Default Type-S and stock ring gap...

Are the ring gaps from the Type-S and the Stock US piston the same? I'm asking cause i was wondering if USDM rings could be used on the Type-S piston

Yes, they are the same except if you get overbored pistons. The ring gap will be matched to the cylinder bore. Use the factory specs from the Helms manual.
