Hey there guys and gals. Got an 02 odyssey, and i can't get it to start. At first i thought it was the starter, my mom said that the AAA guy hit the starter and it started fine for a few days. i figured the starter was probably bad since it was working after it was hit.

so i changed the starter. Still, it just clicks. but also, when it doesn't start, the whole car loses power for at least 5 seconds. sometimes it will come on with key in on position, but sometimes i have to cycle it to get power back. my next thought was ignition switch, and i have one on order right now, but would really like it not to be so i can get the $215 back from it.

sounds like sparking/arcing on the ground cable when it doesn't start. just looking for any helpful suggestions/ideas that i can try.
