I've had my share of honda and acura in the 90's and always loved them(STill do)..I lost interest when living in NYC due to hondas getting stolen left and right so I went the VW route.So after 10 different VDubs and many thousands of dollars(Damn Pricey German Parts
) I still wasnt faster than most modified Honda..
Now in S.C.
In 07 I stumbled upon A 91 nissan sentra SE-R(SR20 Equipped).It changed the game for me as it was something different from the norm..I built a sleeper out of it and put a JDM SR20DET in it, blacked out the intercooler and recirculated the BOV so it was very quiet(surprised many who tried)..I won fastest FWD street class for the season at our local Drag strip down here in Greenville S.C. running 7.60 @95mph on drag radial..Not many imports running down here at the drag strip mostly muscle cars.Blew that engine and now I have a fully built drag Sentra 608HP waiting to hit the track...
Now on to the next Project We have a full k24 swap thats been sitting in our shop for 2 yrs now, so my other idea was to do a k24 swap in a 94 Sentra that is nicely gutted weight would be around 2k lbs with swap..Im just looking out of the box, the element of surprise is the best weapon IMO..Peace..
