my plans are to have the body work and paint done by summer break so by mid May. im also saving the money i get from tips at work to buy a set of wheels. i have been debating between og old skool black wheels or just plain 5 spoke black or dark grey wheels. after exterior i will start interior. so new carpet and covering my panel less rear with black aluminium. and maybe make a custom rear wing and some other things. i dont have any plans for the engine....yet.

a lot of people know i traded this car for a 02 sentra but im buying the car back this thrusday so ill catch you up to when i traded

got custom konig candy in royal purple wrapped in 205/50/15s

locking lug nuts

painted the calipers and drums

then i wrecked the front end

fixed the front end

did some more straightening

i decided it needed more low

then the d15b2 blew a piston ring so i bought this

93 del sol with a d15b7 with rebuilt head new clutch and resurfaced flywheel. pulled the engine out and prepared it to go into civic. i drove the car around for over a month on only three cylinders i got great mpg .... not

had planned to do the swap in two days but it ended up taking a week. i was so happy to finally have the engine in and running

took her for a wash after being in the shop for a week

i loved her after that

my car was even kitten approved

lifted vs lowered

the car looks very different now since i havent owned it....and it is no longer running. he drove it through a puddle and fried the ecu. so i have a new used ecu and ill be picking up the car saturday for $900 which is what i bought it for stock. more updates coming next week

I like the car, but that sticker-bombed fender just has to go.

Keep up the good work!

What kinda plans do you have for it for the future?

Besides those details you just mentioned of course...

Any plans to chase more power?

Cool stuff. I'm your tan DX twin here (although I'm an 89). Thing was a total POS when I got it and slowly have made it into a nice EF. My stock brown interior was hideous, full of cat hair and smelled terrible. Took me forever to find full black interior changeover stuff but I managed. Got new carpet and Integra seats in it these days. Recently installed factory cruise control from a sedan. CRX dash and converted to 90-91 cluster. Pretty much totally overhauled underneath and rebuilt engine and tranny only have 32k miles on them. New r12 AC system. I've put a lot of time and effort into it. New paint. Almost would have been easier to start with a nicer car from the get-go. Although I really enjoy it, it's my daily driver. EF's are dying off quick, I never see any on the streets anymore.

Here's how it used to look. So many panels were damaged that I just found good donors to swap on rather than doing a bunch of body filler. I don't have any pics of the original interior but it was DISGUSTING. Almost wish I'd taken some pics back then of it.
