The keys to the Honda were lost over a year ago it has been sitting ever since. Finally decided to get a key made and we found out that somehow the transmission isn't connected to the gear shift or something like that. I believe it had to be unhooked and manually put into neutral to move it. He said the car has to be in park for the key to be programmed and that the alarm will also have to be disabled since the remote is also gone. I was wondering how I would disable the alarm and if it is simple to get the shift back to normal? Appreciate any advice, Thanks!
