I have a 97 integra gsr with a typr r trannny since I lowered my car my cv axle on the passenger side won't stay in the trans . Can't go a mile and its out noticed when putting cv axle in when its compressed it won't fit thru wheel hub have to extend it can someone plz help me figure it out its been over a year now

 

try another axle?

 

the only thing that cause this problem is the retaining clip on the inboard axle being defective or worn out motor mounts. Had the same issue with my type r. Replaced the clip and made sure it was correct seated in the trans.

 

Will check the retaining clip to see if that will fix it

 

retaining clip new mounts and different transmission and still went 1/8 mile down the road and it came back out again thinking about selling everything and just starting over.

 

WOW. all that and you didnt swap the axle? or check lengths, brand, sizing or anything?

 

yes i tried 3 different axles still the samething
