I kind of lucked into a non-running '93 Prelude Si 4WS from a friend... The engine is toast and I would like to swap in another (the rest of the car is almost perfect). Can someone offer advice into which motor to swap in and what it will cost?

if you dont find anything from searching, the best bet if you are going n/a is the h22a. itll run you around 2500+ for a complete swap plus labor

oooookay. you know how much turbos cost? yeah, it would be nice and all that.
but to be as fast as possible for least amount of money, the H22 is the way to go.
but there are always other ways, like going H23+nitrous for example.

 

who in the hell in their right mind would want to boost a damn H23

 

I'm basically looking for a nice daily driver with at least 190HP.

your best bet would be a h22a. but im not really sure how this people get the price of 2500. all the prices that i saw are ranged from 3000-3500
