Damn :/

Sorry to hear! I had a car stolen in 2006 and not a piece showed up still.

Side note: I'll buy the roller if it's 8/10 if it gets found.

I talked to the cops again, The cop that took my info that night is "on training" for 4 days then off work 4 days.

So anyways the message I got was that unless somebody stumbles upon it that it won't get found.
I said that I might as well go out and look for it myself, and the officer said "by all means go ahead".

So the cops don't really work for us. The whole "To serve and protect" motto is basically ******* bullshit to put it bluntly.

Even the auto squad isn't out there "searching" for stolen vehicles I was told. Apparently they don't have the manpower to do so. Also they don't do bait cars to catch thieves in the act.

I know it's very frustrating, and it sucks but auto theft is such common place now it's just treated as a common crime and unless a real stink is made somewhere along the lines, it just ends up in a pile somewhere. A few years ago my good friend had his M3 stolen, and we had a few friends on the force that we contacted and pretty much felt like there was zero effort put towards finding it...it was found completely stripped some months later in an abandoned lot somewhere. Heart breaking indeed.

Good luck to you man, but you should probably look towards the future now...replacement and what not. Stings like a son of a bitch, but no sense in fighting the pointless fight, ya know?
