Default B Series Mugen LSD Question

Does anyone know the thickness specification for the clutch plates in a Mugen LSD? I would like to measure mine.

Its a few years old and I'm debating shimming it (or buying new clutch packs), but I do not know the original thickness of the plates to see how much mine has worn..Thanks.

Edit: Seems it may only be a 1.5way..not sure how to tell the difference between 1.5 and 2way.

Just called, they do not have the spec and I was asked to email scott - however I have been doing that for the past 3 months and he has not gotten back to me.

I'm going to mic the friction plates tonight and I will see if they are all consistent to one another just to give me some sort of baseline I guess.

That's odd since they're Mugens NA Distributor. Sorry I couldn't help more.

No problem.

Just to update this thread for future if anyone needs. I did find this website, and it lists some specs. (http://www.nengun.com/mugen/lsd).

Mechanical Type
45 degree cam angle
9kg/m Initial

Option LSD Rebuild

6 x Friction Disc - t = 1.75mm (0.0689in)
2 x Friction Plate - t = 1.65mm (0.0645in)
2 x Frication Plate - t = 1.55mm (0.0610in)
4 x Spring Plate - t = 1.65mm (0.0645in)

When I mic'ed my plates I got an average of 0.0693" for the plates with ears, and 0.0650 for the plates w/o ears. All measurements were within 0.0003" which could be error in my mic. These seem to match up whats listed above too. My unit definitely showed little to no wear on all the plates.

I should also mention the entire unit had 0.090" preload when screwing down the 4x phillips screws.
