Ej hatch re-finish
always liked civic hatches so I got one. its a 97 CX w/ b18c1 block b16 head and b16 tranny. no P/S since its a cx but does have nice cold A/C
the day i got her

It had been repainted with some cheap single stage paint, probably some macco ish. So once I got my garage I started stripping the paint and doing the body work. luckily I didnt find any filler. before I started the body work I did a 99-00 conversion. everything will be worked and primed, then blocked and primed again until perfectly straight. this is the second time I'll be doing a complete bare metal up re-finish, learned alot from the first time so this one should be 10x better.
Started on the roof

Passenger door was pretty dinged up

after being blocked out and primed again

Driver door wasnt as bad

passenger quarter and rail almost as bad as the door

yea theyre good, check out mcqueenpaint too hes a little less loud lol. I actually have a degree in collision repair tho, after I graduated I worked at a body shop for 6 months and decided it wasnt what I wanted to do for a living. sanding cars all day doesnt make it fun to go home and sand your own =/
