Hello Honda-tech, this is my first thread so hopefully u can help me out. I bought my 95 dx coupe in January of this year with 140,000 on the chassis and 80,000 on the JDM D15B swap. Lots of little things to fix so ive got my handles full.

Right now im trying to figure out how to get my sunroof to work. Its been taped up since i got it since the previous owner told me it leaked a little, which is still slightly does even with the tape.

I tried to do some research but cant find anything to help me get it to work or even figure out where to start. I see no wires for a motor to plug into, althought i do see a red grounding wire where the motor is supposed to be. I also do not see the drain tubes that are supposed to flow through the pillars.

Previous owner cut away the headline in order to get to the sunroof, not a big deal to me since it makes my job easier.

So my questions are:

1. is there someway i can simply skip getting a motor and crank it by hand? would this be extremely tedious?

2. is it worth getting a new motor even though i cant find the wires to hook it up??

3. Not really a questiom, but i noticed my headliner looks kinda different than other 95 dx coupes ive seen online.

The DX didn't come with a sunroof. If yours has one it's an aftermarket unit of some sort.

 

if you want to try to get it hooked up i'd try and find a good wiring diagram. but as said before the DX never came with one stock so you'll need to find a Si or ex diagram as those were the two that had that option(iirc)
