B20 Vtec Build up
Hi
I have a "97 Ek4 Sedan and i will swap the B16a2 for a B20Vtec, i need some advice for my build
Block
B20b
Pistons - YCP 84,5mm - 11,5 CR
Arp rods bolts
Tri-header manifold 2,5"
Exaust - 2,5"
Head
B16a2 ported
ITR Intake manifold ported to 68mm
68mm Skunk2 throtlle body
Thermal gaskets
Blox B camshafts
Blox Dual valve springs
OEM Retainers
ARP head bolts
Ecu - Honda S300 or Demon
What do you think? It´s ok or i should exchange something, what rpm´s should i do

what are you trying to do with the car?
It looks like a list of parts to me and there is a good chunk of information to be read in this forum regarding this exact type of build. You can also read and view the multitude of dyno graphs which show how far these setups are making power to and give you an idea of what they are revving to.
All you are going to get here is a bunch of random people giving you 100 different opinions. The same opinions posted in the same build advice questions which isnt going to do you any good.
So, what do YOU think about what you have planned? What lead you to pick these certain parts?

i cant even begin to tell you how many hours of searching and reading ive done on this board in the past when i decide to build up a new engine and how im going to go about doing it.
my question for you is what oem retainers do you have? the k20 oem retainers?

The car is a everyday car, with some trackday´s in the weekend.
I want a good engine, not the most powerful, and of course reliable.
I read almost all information in the foruns and i have some doubts most about the valvetrain.
My budget is low, but i prefer wait and spend a litle more for good parts, before assemble the engine.
To suplement the engine i will mount a S4c gearbox with DC2/EK9 Lsd with 4,4 FD.
The car has already mounted Tein flex coilovers, 300mm front brakes from a EP3 and in the rear 262mm from a Dc2.

I was thinking mount k20 oem retainers
